Sinopsis/Synopsis
All things were now overtaken by silence is a contemplative film about the shooting of a rather strange play, a monologue based on Sor Juana Ines de la Cruz´s biographical poem First I Dream. We see actress Jesusa Rodríguez patiently waiting between shots and placing the camera. The film is a meditation not only on filmmaking and its process, but on the aesthetics of silence.
