Sinopsis/Synopsis
Joaquín Aguirre, ingeniero mexicano de 74 años, muere en el fondo del mar buscando los restos del naufragio del galeón español Santísima Trinidad, hundido en el Golfo de México en el siglop XVII, el que buscó por más de 30 años. A su muerte, le hereda a su hijo Juan y a su nieta Ana de 8 años, su barco el Meridiano. Durante su último viaje en el barco que ha decidido vender, el fantasma de su padre lo conmina a encontrar el galeón; Juan decide seguir los pasos de su padre y buscar el tesoro del Trinidad. Al final la niña y su padre se encuentran, y surge una plena identificación entre ambos.
Joaquin Aguirre, a 74 year-old Mexican engineer, dies at the bottom of the sea searching for the wreck of the Spanish galleon Santisima Trinidad, which sank in the Gulf of Mexico in the 17th century, and which he has been trying to find for more than 30 years. When he dies, he leaves his boat el Meridiano to Juan and his eight year old daughter Ana. During their journey, the ghost of this father urges him to find the galleon; Juan decides to follow in his father´s footsteps and seek the treasure of the Trinidad. Finally, father and daughter find a common ground and there is a full identification between them.
