The music collections of the Music Archives of the Cathedrals of México and Puebla are among the largest and richest in the Spanish -speaking world. These collections were microfilmed in 1967; and catalogued, but this cataloging has remained in the hands of the author from that day to present. More recently he has been transcribing examples of the repertoire covered, and Benjamin Juárez directing the Conjunto de Cámara de la Cuidad de México, has been mounting them in concert. The quality of this music has been attracting considerable attention.
