Nancy es una mujer mariachi que fue encarcelada injustamente al ser confundida con un traficante de personas mientras intentaba cruzar la frontera con Estados Unidos. Ahora vive en México junto a su esposo Teo, con quien tiene un hijo. Diariamente acude a Garibaldi, el sitio más importante de reunión de los mariachis en el mundo, donde es una de las pocas mujeres mariachi y canta para sostener a su familia.

Nancy is a woman mariachi who was unfairly imprisoned after being mistaken for a human trafficker as she attempted to cross the border into the United States. Now she lives in Mexico with her husband, Teo, with whom she has a son. Every day she goes to Mexico City´s Garibaldi Square, the most important meeting point for mariachis in the world, where she is one of very few women mariachis, and she sings to support her family.
