El mundo está al borde de la catástrofe, toda forma de vida en el planeta está por desaparecer. En exactamente 48 horas los seres humanos tendrán que abandonar este nivel de existencia. Todo el mundo morirá... y un hombre, llamado Pete Nelson, está a punto de comprar un boleto a la siguiente vida, pero primero tiene que hacer frente a sí mismo. Es el fin del mundo en la ciudad más artificial del planeta, Las Vegas. Ahí tiene un desdoblamiento de personalidades que lo confrontan con su realidad y con una existencia dudosa y aparentemente sin pasado. El reloj está corriendo y tiene sólo 48 horas para encontrar una respuesta acerca de cuál es el motivo de su existencia. Pero Pete tiene un pequeño problema: no tiene la respuesta que espera porque piensa que... ésta no es una película. ¿Podrá Pete Nelson descubrir la verdad detrás de su propia existencia? ¿Es realmente el fin de nuestra civilización o simplemente paranoia?

The world is on the verge of a catastrophe, all life forms on the planet are threatened with extinction. In exactly 48 hours, the human species will have to abandon this level of existence. The whole world will die… and a man, named Pete Nelson, is on the point of buying his ticket into the next life, but first Pete Nelson has to confront himself. He finds himself facing the end of the world in the most artificial city on the planet: Las Vegas. There he has a personality split which will make him grapple with reality, a dubious existence and an apparently non-existing past. The clock is ticking and he has only 48 hours to find out the reason for his existence. But Pete has one small problem… He does not have the answer he wants, because he believes… This is not a movie. Could Pete Nelson find the truth behind his own existence? Is it really the end of our civilization or is it simply paranoia?
