Sinopsis/Synopsis
El rebelde del acordeón indaga en el surgimiento de los Sonideros y el establecimiento de la cumbia colombiana en La Indepe, el barrio bravo de Monterrey donde Celso Piña creció. Fue el primero
en interpretar en vivo dicha música, bailable y pegajosa, en fiestas
familiares. Después sigue su trayectoria de fusionar músicas y
ritmos que han puesto a bailar hasta al Premio Nobel Gabriel
García Márquez.
The Accordion Rebel explores the rise of Sonideros music and the establishment of Colombian cumbia in La Indepe, the barrio bravo where Celso Piña grew up in Monterrey. He was the first who played the catchy and danceable music in family celebrations. Followed by a rising career of mixing music and rhythms that made everybody get up and dance, including Nobel Prize Gabriel Garcia Marquez.
